Known to Shut Down Top Receivers
Brandon Flowers was born on February 18, 1986 and raised in sunny Delray Beach, Florida. When he was young, he always had a passion for sports. He started playing football at a young age and absolutely fell in love with it.
Throughout his young career, many people doubted Flowers because he was undersized for a NFL player. He used this to motive himself and prove people wrong. He wanted to prove to all the people out there that he could still be the primer shut down corner despite his height and 40 yard dash time.
In his 2008 NFL draft class, he was drafted in round two, at the 35th pick, the Kansas City Chiefs Selected Brandon Flowers. He was the 6th defensive back (DB) drafted that year. Months after the draft, Brandon made history. He was the only defensive back (DB) who earned a starting position for the entire year.
After being in the NFL for 5 years, Brandon Flowers is still playing for the Kansas City Chiefs and is known to shut down top receivers in the league.
