Built to last
I got a pair of these headphones about 2 months ago. They are really nice! The mid range is present and the bass is what you would expect from Velodyne. You can listen to these for hours without fatigue.
I bought beats by dre before but these aren't even on the same level the vtrues just overall give better sound and are have a good build quality not to mention the bass is intense.
My friend just brought a pair of these and I love headphones and had a listen to these. They were the best headphones I had ever listened to and I had never heard of them. So I think I will probably buy a set of Vpulse earphones because the sound and bass is so good. So much better than beats. I definitely reccomend
Getting a 2nd Pair
I bought a pair of these for my home studio earlier this year on Amazon, and I'm looking to slowly replace all of my cans with this model. I've never used a more balanced pair of headphones for referencing mixes.
The Velodyne vTrue Studio headphones have to be one of the best headphones available on the market today. I've had many other "brands", Mixmaster's and X-10's, but nothing can compare to the sound reproduction, build quality and overall appearance, of the Velodyne vTrue. I am by no means an Audiophile, but I do know what I like to hear from a top of-the-line headphone and these do deliver. What I really enjoy about the vTrue is how well they are able to handle various types of music, from House and Jazz to Dub and Alternative. They have a wide range of sound and are a bit on the warm side. You are able to hear many different layers and levels of audio that you may have never heard before, almost as you where in the studio yourself. The bass is tight and can really pack a punch, while the mids and highs are not compromised. Comfort wise, the soft leather earcups and light aluminum chassis make them a delight to wear for extended periods of time. Priced out, they are a bit expensive, but I always say, you get what you pay for. With components derived from forged aluminum, supple brown leather and precise piped stitching, they are a head turner and will make a presence in the office. You just don’t find many headphones out there with this type of build quality. They are indeed, the “Macs” of headphones. I HIGHLY recommend them. You will not be disappointed.
