SC-600 IF/IC In-floor or Ceiling Subwoofer
The SC-600 IF/IC (Subcontractor 600 In-Floor/In-Ceiling) has bass output from 25 Hz to 120 Hz at 3dB down from a single 12” woofer in a slotted bass-reflex enclosure.
If you are buying an SC-600 IF/IC subwoofer, you must power it with either an SC-600 or SC-602 amplifier to reap the benefits of the model-specific EQ settings; no other amplifier includes these.
This subwoofer is being discontinued and is limited to stock on hand. For another IF/IC woofer built in options, see the SC-IF/IC.

I have 4 of these behind my 73" TV. The subs are only 9" deep so they will fit nicely in most applications. As far as SQ, I think they sound very good - better than the cheap $200-300 subs, but of course not as good as my $2,000 subs.
I bought this sub for my family room because of the low profile, unpowered, and trusted Velodyne name. I am pleased with this sub.
I prefer unpowered active subs because I like to use my own amps. I say "active" because the crossover (in the AVR) comes before the amp, which by definition makes all subs active whether they are powered or unpowered.
The output is very adequate and bass quality seems tight. I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in the low profile unpowered high quality sub.
